SUNY Oneonta is featuring a very special guest speaker tonight. A speaker that you, the taxpayers of NYS, get to pay for. They're also featuring a rebuttal speaker, who you are also paying for.

The main speaker is getting $11,000 for her little speech. The rebuttal is getting $600. The rebuttal speaker is a retired Colonel and Gulf War Veteran.

The main speaker?

Moonbat of moonbats, Cindi Sheehan.

I often agree with you - but not this time.
If you read your linked article you will see that both speakers fees are paid through a student activity fee, so it will not be on my tax bill.
Sheehan's speech is on one person can make a difference, she will certainly cite the war; but that is not the main intent.
And whether you agree with her or not, I have trouble being over critical of someone who has lost a child in the effort - moonbat of moonbats seems a litle harsh.

Cindi Sheehan has the right to speak at any campus, even though she is a left wing nut job. Too bad she wasn't protesting down in Crawford that week instead of trying to push her bull crap over on "our" New York kids.
